This week I was in a bit of funk again. My first thought was WHYY? Everything is going so well, you have no reason to. Look at all the other functioning people on Slack/Twitter/Instagram. Why do you always have to be on this rollercoaster of being moody, productive, down, and up again?!
And then I took a nap. And went for a walk. And drank a glass of water.💁♀️
Two key things I have learned while navigating all this.
Being hard on yourself does not help. You can never make a change from a place of negativity.
When in funk, just one tiny bit of action helps.
For that tiny bit of action, what also helps is having a system in place. A system you set up for yourself on your good days. It could be a mix of journaling, walks, mediation, watching Love Island, listening to Bollywood music, calling a friend, taking a nap. Min includes all of the above, hearsay.
Also these 3 apps form a crucial part of that system
